Hi, I'm Niechia, lovingly known as Ọmídìrẹ, founder of Of Root & Kin.

Created from my own journey back to grounding, embodiment, and intentional living, Of Root & Kin is a space for thoughtfully curated tools and practices that support restoration, expression, ritual, and everyday care.

As an Aborisha, studying African traditional practices, ancestral wisdom, and the old ways has become an important part of my own healing and ancestral work. That journey continues to shape how I understand care, connection, embodiment, and the ways we create meaning in our everyday lives.

I believe healing can look like stillness, movement, reflection, rest, solace, community, or simply choosing differently. This work honors what came before us while creating room for who we are still becoming.
